John Nia, MD, is a fellowship-trained dermatologic and cosmetic surgeon specializing in skin cancer treatment, facial reconstruction, and aesthetic dermatology. Education and Training
A native New Yorker, Dr. Nia graduated with honors from an accelerated seven-year combined undergraduate and medical degree program through the City University of New York. He completed his internship at Lenox Hill Hospital before pursuing his dermatology residency at Mount Sinai, where he was selected to serve as Chief Resident.
Following residency, Dr. Nia completed advanced fellowship training at Clinic 5C under the mentorship of Dr. Cameron Chesnut. His fellowship provided highly specialized experience across facial plastic surgery, oculoplastic surgery, and dermatologic surgery, creating a uniquely comprehensive foundation in facial aesthetics and reconstruction.
