Dr. Eric S. Treiber, MD is a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in medical and surgical dermatology and a longstanding commitment to providing thoughtful, comprehensive care for patients of all ages. With a unique background spanning both Internal Medicine and Dermatology, Dr. Treiber brings a broad, patient-centered perspective to skin health and is known for his clinical expertise, procedural skill, and warm approach to care.

Education and Training

Dr. Treiber graduated from Queens College and earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at NewYork Hospital–Cornell Medical Center and became board-certified in Internal Medicine. After serving as a full-time faculty member at Cornell University Medical College and practicing Internal Medicine in the community for more than a decade, he returned to complete his dermatology residency at New York Medical College, where he served as Chief Resident.

Expertise in Medical and Surgical Dermatology

Since establishing his dermatology practice in Rye, Dr. Treiber has cared for generations of patients throughout the community and developed particular expertise in dermatologic surgery, skin cancer detection and treatment, and psoriasis care, including phototherapy and advanced biologic therapies. He is also especially known for his thoughtful approach and skill in caring for pediatric patients and performing dermatologic procedures in children.

Academic Leadership

Dr. Treiber serves as Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and remains actively involved in teaching and mentoring future physicians. His longstanding commitment to education and staying at the forefront of dermatologic advances reflects his dedication to delivering exceptional care to every patient.
